This post is going to be a little bit different from the ones that I’ve put up in the past. I’m still going to be talking about a book, but this particular book is one that I wrote. That’s right, people. I wrote a book. And then I decided to self-publish it. (Because I hate success?) And now you can buy it! If… if you want to. It’s called The Sea Cannot Drown Me, and in my (biased) opinion, I think it’s pretty awesome.
Actually, let me tell you a little bit about it before you go off and buy it. If I was pressed to put it in a genre, I would call it a crime novel because it isn’t quite a mystery, but it’s close. It’s about two guys who meet each other, become friends, and work together to fight crime and solve mysteries. These two men are Edwin Voss, a trust fund baby who steals cars as a hobby, and Erik Maxwell, a violinist and a vigilante. If you think this sounds interesting, check it out here, or just click the MY BOOK tab at the top of the page.
The other thing that makes this post special is that I’m going to talk a little bit about why I haven’t been updating these posts as frequently as I want to be. The main reason is that I’m working simultaneously on a bunch of different projects. I just finished one of them – that’d be the book – but I still have a bunch of stuff I’m doing. Short stories, medium stories, long stories – those kinds of things. Hopefully, most of this stuff will eventually make its way onto the website, but I don’t think my update speed is going to increase anytime soon. This goes doubly so for twitter. Sorry, twitter. I don’t mean to neglect you.
But I’m starting to get off on a tangent here. The main point I’m trying to make here is that I think you should buy my book. So check it out!
I’ll try to write about something that someone else made for the next post. See you then.
